Taxi fare from Malpensa airport to Milan city center.

Is this a set fare and if so, how much is it?

Hi Scott,
There is a fixed-rate of €95. You can catch one outside exit 6. You can also take the Malpensa Express train from the airport to either the Milan Cadorna station (downtown) in 35 min. or to the Centrale station (if you are catching a train elsewhere) in 45 min. Trains depart every 30 min. and cost €12 one way. Catch them from the undergrouind station at Terminal 1 in Malpensa airport. See www.malpensaexpress.it for schedule.

Scott, take the Express or a shuttle bus unless there are enough of you to even out the cab fare. Malpensa is a long way from central Milan, and the train is probably the best bet as you'd avoid any road issues. We did use one of the bus shuttles (very nice!) but TO the airport very early in the morning so traffic wasn't a problem.

Malpensa Express train to Cadorna is a faster and cheaper way to the city center. Cadorna station is not far from the Duomo and you might even be able to walk to your hotel, depending on where it is. A taxi ride from Cadorna to anywhere in the city center won't be long anyhow.
