Tax on accommodations in Milan

We are booking rooms in Milan. Some are quoted as VAT and service included. Others, tax, VAT, and service. What can we expect the tax cost to be? Thank you

I think it is just phrasing. Americans are use to the word tax. My experience is that the quote is the total. Last summer we did run into a couple of places in Holland that added 1E for service which was the first time I had seen that.

You can expect the tax to be included in the quoted rate.

Normally the quoted rate always has tax included - in Europre, tax is called VAT so I think if they said VAT and tax together they were basically repeating themselves to be understandable to all. VAT on all accommodation in Italy is 10% and is included in the quoted prices, generally so is basic service. If there are extra services they offer, they generally make it clear how much each service costs additionally. VAT is always included here on all items you buy so if the tag says it is 10 euros, that is what you pay at the register.
