Taormina restaurant recommendations

We loved Rosso Peperoncino, so much that we went two out of our three nights in Taormina. We met a couple there who said it was their best meal in 6 weeks of travel. I don't remember it having any views, but it was a charming little spot.

Better advice that a few comments here

Ristorante Il Ciclopi won the prize for us in April because from Florence down to Sicily we had been sampling carbonara and amatriciana sauces, usually Rome specialties but Il Ciclopi had hands down the best versions of both.
