Is anyone familiar with or have traveled to this area? The villages of Fibialla, Medicina, Arams, Sorana, San Quirico, Vellano, Costelvecchio, Stiappa and Pontito. Is it difficult to get to? Worth it or not? Sounds so remote and adventurous and would love to hear more about it.

You might also try the Tripadvisor forums, which allow you to post under specific regions of Italy. They have TONS of people who read those forums. Good luck.
