Supper after "The Last Supper"

I have reservation for "The Last Supper" at 3p on a Tue. I am not family with that area. Are there good restaurants in the vicinity?

We plan to take the express train to/from MXP to see "The Last Supper". After the tour, we will, literally, have our last supper in Italy as we will be flying back home the next morning.

So I figure we will have roughly from 4p to 8p to find a good food before heading back to MXP. Are there good restaurants around Santa Maria delle Grazie or Cadorna train station or do we have to go into the Duomo area? I don't want to wander too far off access back to MXP. And I don't expect fine restaurants around MXP (correct me if I'm wrong on this).

Give that it's between lunch and dinner, I probably have to settle for aperitivo hour.

It will be difficult to find a good restaurant that starts service before 7pm, but if you want an aperitivo, there are plenty of places around the Duomo. I would take the Metro to the Duomo stop. Take the elevator to the roof if you like gargoyles up close. Then descend and look for a bar with a Happy Hpur Buffet sign.

I don't know the Cadorna area but there are probably lots of options there, too. You can browse before you decide.

Most traditional restaurants in Milan don't open until 7:00, 7:30, or 8 p.m. For your target area, Google maps is a good way to search for "restaurants (or bars) near Milano Cadorna station" and then click on various findings.
