sunset in Venice

Where is the best place to take a photo of the setting sun in Venice? I've been to Venice several times, but unfortunately have usually missed a good sunset and would love to get a good shot and will be there in July. I've heard the Grand Canal is good, but at what spot? Grazie!

Susan, we took some beautiful sunset pictures entering the Grand Canal from a little side canal on a gondola, near the Rialto Bridge. Our gondola did not spend much time on the Grand Canal, but the time we were there we took some great pictures!!
