Looking to take a sunrise gondola tour in Venice in October. Where’s the best place to catch one on the canal?

I would be surprised if the gondolas are available that early. If it is possible you might have to arrange it privately with someone.

sunset, yes, but I've never seen a sunrise one. I never knew it to be a thing.
Agreed with Andrea that finding someone and trying to arrange it in advance is likely the way, if they want to start their day so early.

Hi,
We were just in Venice earlier in the week. The earliest I ever saw gondolas at their meeting points was 9 am and that was just a handful. I agree, arranging one in advance might be your best bet. Otherwise, perhaps a sunrise vaporetto ride? Not as romantic, but easily accessible and you can select from a number of routes.

By the word “tour” you mean “ride”? Its 80 euros for a 30 minute ride. What are your expectations for a gondola “tour”?
