Hiya, Planning a few weekend trips (currently based in Austria) and would love some help. I'll be flying into Rome in late June/early July to visit some friends, and then am hoping to daytrip in Tuscany for a day or two with Florence as a base. I've had the pleasure of traveling in Italy before, and this time the main thing I would like to do is explore some of the countryside by biketrain or bus are fine if necessary and see the Sunflower fields in bloom. Any suggestions of where to go? How to proceed public transit wise? From what I've read, things should be in bloom at that time, but PLEASE correct me if I am wrong! Thank you so much!
