Has anyone gone to Mass in Venice on Easter Sunday or any Sunday for that matter? We are staying at Hotel Messner in Dorsoduro near Salute.

I have been to mass in Venice -= actually it was a 5 PM Saturday mass at Frari. There are churches on about every corner there and mass times are posted on the outside - I am sure you won't have any trouble. Maybe just plan on going to mass at Salute!

When you get off at the Salute vaporetto stop, you will be almost in front of Santa Maria Della Salute church. This Baroque church is one of the most beautiful landmarks on the Grand Canal and Venice itself. As mentioned above, there are churches everywhere.
To get to the Hotel Messner, only the #1 vaporetto stops there. When you get off, and if I remember correctly, you walk to the far bridge, cross it and walk about 300 yards. We stayed there last year.
