If you visit the Pantheon when it opens at 9:00 AM on a Sunday, can you remain in the building for Mass? I've heard conflicting stories saying it's very easy (just tell the guards) to nightmare (everyone made to leave and total mob scene.) HELP!

I was there a few years ago for a Saturday evening mass. Just go into the roped off area to seat yourself shortly before mass begins. The guards will move all those not attending mass out of the building but allow those seated for mass to remain. It was a wonderful experience to attend mass there.
