Sunday lunch or dinner in Rome

I am going to aim for a reservation for a specific restaurant in Rome for our last day there (we leave early the next day, Monday). Do Romans prefer a late lunch or will a dinner time reservation be 'good'. Wow, I didn't explain that well but hope someone understands.

I think the usual meal times apply for Sunday as well. For lunch, which would be a bigger, heavier meal, plan on 13:00 to 14:00 (1-2), for Dinner closer to 20:00 to 21:00 (8-9). In most tourist areas though many restaurants open at lunch and serve until midnight, so if you are after a heavier early evening meal (6 or 7), you can find a place.
