We will be in Tuscany area near Montepulciano or Monticchiello early July
Do you think there would be a need for A/C or is it generally cooler because of the mountains?
Thanks
July is hot in Europe generally. This has been an odd year...no winter, and now a wet and colder spring.
We just got back from Italy, and in 10 years of traveling there in May, this has been the coldest, and rainest. Normally we have really HOT temps....yes, in MAY.
Expect it to be hot - if it's a normal summer. Yes, even in the mountains..
July is generally very hot. Where you are is not that high in altitude.
many thanks, that helps in our decision
Really, really, really hot. Drink water and take a nap in the afternoon and stay out late at night for cooler temps.
