As the topic says, where would you suggest dining at Lake Como?
Are there anywhere that is better than others, anyplace special? Price doesn't matter, just want something really nice?
I look forward to reading your replies.
Thank you in advance!

The Ristorante La Vista at the Albergo Milano in Varenna has a terrace overlooking the lake with a beautiful view.

The food is wonderful. Rick Steves recommends the fixed price menu for 37 euros and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Even if it is rainy and you have to sit inside, it is still a lovely meal.
Anywhere on the promenade in Meggagio looking at the lake and the Alps.
Oops. Mennagio, sorry.
gun,
How much money do you have? If you have a generous budget for dining, you could consider the Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni in Bellagio. I'm sure you'd enjoy a fine meal with impeccable service there (but it won't be inexpensive).
On a nice summer night: an outdoor table at the "La Contrada" restaurant at Villa Cipressi in Varenna. Delicious meal in a gorgeous setting. http://www.hotelvillacipressi.it/it/ristorante.html
My friend and I liked Osteria Quattro Pass (found in RIck's book) so much, we dined there both of our Varenna nights, and didn't regret this one bit.
But when you say Lake Como, where will you be? It's a huge lake, so you'll want recommendations near where you're staying. Varenna to Bellagio for dinner and back is easy; Varenna to the town of Como would not be.
