Suggestions on Rome restaurants for my itinerary?

Hi,
I'll be in Rome in mid-September. I'm trying to finalize my eating plans for the week :) Some days I have ideas (open to other suggestions), others I don't. I want to experience a variety of foods, decent glass of wine, local specialties, smaller more family owned type restaurants and my budget is limited to under 40 Euros/meal. Some meals need to be quick and less expensive than my budgeted amount and other can be sit down nicer places.

My lodging is near Castle San Angelo.

I'll list my last stop of the day and hope to find a restaurant that is between my last stop and my lodging.

For example:

Last stop of day
restaurant/quick or sit down meal
lodging area

These are ideas I've come up with. Could you please offer any other suggestions?

Wednesday:
Trevi fountain
Quick evening meal (Piccolo Buco?)
lodging near Castle San Angelo

Thursday:
Arco degli Acetari arch-Campo deFiori
Quick evening meal (Forno Campo de'Fiori?)
lodging near Castle San Angelo

Friday:
Jewish Ghetto
Nicer sit down evening meal (Hosteria Grappolo d'Oro-tasting menu?)
lodging near Castle San Angelo

Saturday:
Piazza Navona
Nicer sit down evening meal (Trattoria Lilli?)
lodging near Castle San Angelo

Sunday:
Borghese Gallery
Nicer sit down evening meal ??
lodging near Castle San Angelo

Monday:
Santa Maria della Vittoria
Nicer sit down evening meal ??
lodging near Castle San Angelo

Tuesday (last night in Rome):
Liberation museum
Nicer sit down evening meal (Colline Emillano?)
lodging near Castle San Angelo

Thanks :)

Great info from miuccia, as usual.

Some ideas I have for you:

Near Piazza Navona, we are very fond of Antica Taverna on Via Monte Giordano. When we lived in Rome, it was our go to at least monthly for casual dinners, reasonable prices. Reservations nice, but not essential, although Saturday night it might be a good idea. You can always stop in at a restaurant late afternoon and ask about making a reservation and many places take them online. Scroll down on this page https://www.anticataverna1938.it/ to find online reservations (prenota ora) for Antica Taverna. It is a rare location open early and still not bad. We met many many Italians dining there during our 5 years stay in Rome.

Are you aware Forno on Campo de’ Fiori is more of a bakery/quick bite place? I don’t even recall seating there.

Make your way from the Borghese (easy walk) to Taverna Rossini http://www.tavernarossini.it/ and eat on the lively terrace. We ate good pizza there more times than I can count but the pastas and fish are excellent as well. Ask for the palle di cioccolate for dessert. They are open continuous hours and very accommodating. Again, a place the locals go. It is on several bus lines that will get you back to your lodging, although taxis are inexpensive. Sadly, the tram lines are under renovation until December.

Thanks, miuccia.

Two steps forward and one step back :( I can't change Colline Emiliane (the nice lunch) as it's on a Monday too;(

I believe that Colline is closed all day Monday as well as Sunday? I could be wrong, but that's what I'm seeing on various websites.

If you are looking for something near your hotel in the Prati area at any point, we have enjoyed a few meals at Il Sorpasso on via Properzio.
