We will be in Italy in June spending a week in Rome, a week in Florence and a week in an apartment between Certaldo and San Gimignano with a car. We are looking for suggestions/information on other types of tours like: pasta factory, olive oil factory, cheese factory, balsamic vinegar etc. We have signed up for a cooking class and have information on several wine tours. The Viator website lists a tour in which you take the train to Bologna early in the morning, where you're met by a private driver and taken to a cheese factory, a balsamic vinegar factory, and a prosciutto factory. You could also email your cooking class instructor for other suggestions.
