My husband and I will be flying to Naples in a few weeks and staying in Positano. We will spend a few nights there and then continue on to Florence for the next leg of our trip. What are some recommendations regarding travel and sightseeing stops along the way?

Are you asking how to travel from Positano to Florence and what stops to make on the way? If you are going by train, do you want to leave your luggage at the station and sightsee for a day somewhere? Or do you want to spend a night or two? Or are you asking about what to see and do while you are in Positano and how to get there from Naples?

I am asking the first part of your questions. Suggestions on means of travel and what to see. WE already have reservations in Florence, but would be game to stop along the way. And likewise to day trip from Florence during our stay. Thanks for your help..I am so new to this I don' t even know the right questions. We will be staying in Positano for the first leg of our trip, for 4 days then in Florence for 3 days on to CT for 3 then 5 days in Rome and fly out of Rome. I love churches, my husband is excited about the Coliseum--- I do love art but could not see spending many days doing the museums--we do enjoy hiking and love wine.
