Suggestions for Rome Hotel or Apartment near Pantheon

Hi there -

I am looking for a quieter hotel or apartment near the Pantheon in Rome for 5 days at the end of April. We have stayed at the Albergo Santa Chiara which was fabulous but is not available during our dates. There are just two of us. Suggestions welcome!

We liked the Albergo del Senato; our room looked directly out on the Pantheon.

Check out Hotel Du Tori. Easy walk to Pantheon.

Was the Albergo del Senato loud? I know being in the city center means some noise is inevitable, I'm just hoping to find somewhere where we don't hear literally everything that is happening in the piazza at night.

My husband and I stayed in the most perfect apartrment for 4 nights in September 2025 looking directly at the Pantheon! Incredible accomodations, location was to die for, Lucia (our host) was simply phenomenal. No noise which was surprising because the bedroom is in the back away from the street side and the windows all have sound proofing. Will never stay anywhere else in Rome! VRBO

We stayed at Albergo Santa Chiara right behind the Pantheon. We had half a day and one night before catching a flight home. It was a good location for checking off a few things we didn’t see on our first trip - Trevi Fountain, Spanish steps, Borghese Gallery. Good restaurants. Fun to people watch in the piazza. Very nice hotel and rooms.

In early December 2025 my husband and I stayed at Hotel Minerva Relais. We had a pretty basic room but included a perfect little balcony and is on the 4th floor. I believe some of the other rooms are larger but we wanted the balcony room. We only paid about $120 per night but I see prices are higher in spring and summer. Complementary in-room Nespresso and coronet/croissants in the mornings. There was a nice size bathroom and shower. We got pizza, suppli and beer from the take-away pizza place across the street. It is a block behind the Pantheon, just off Piazza della Minerva. Not to be confused with Orient Express la Minerva, the 5 star hotel nearby! But we did take advantage of the 5star's rooftop bar!
