Suggestions for Agriturismos in Umbria and Tuscany

I am looking for some suggestions that would meet the following criteria

We are looking to stay a total of 4 nights in one or both of these areas. WE have never been to either area nor have we ever stayed at a an agriturismo. We will be there middle of October and will rent a car.

I have looked at many websites but there are so many to choose from. I would like to hear of some of your favorites

good location for touring other towns, villages
has ability to have dinner on site
lovely view
not a "scary" drive :)
comfortable clean rooms
possibly offer a cooking class but not highest priority

Thanks

Agriturismo Cioccoleta is perfect. Don't think twice. It is 10 minutes by car to Orvieto. I was just there and my review hasn't posted yet. Angela's mission is to meet your every need. Her huge homemade breakfasts are amazing. She goes so far as to make eggs to order. The rooms are clean and modern and the views are spectacular. You can see many towns in Umbria from there. You can drive to Bagnoregio from there and go to the vanishing town of Civita.

Great agriturismo, centrally located for Tuscany and Umbria. Beautiful hilltop vistas.
Wonderful hosts. Property has been in the family for 400 years.

Cooking class down the road.

No restaurant on premises, but ability to have catered meals.
Several good restaurants nearby.

We will be staying in Cortona this summer and booked through Together in Tuscany & Umbria. http://www.togethertuscany.com/

The place we are staying is Casa San Francesco (but they offer a variety of lodgings throughout Tuscany and Umbria.) While we have not yet stayed there a few of our friends have and said it is wonderful! We will be doing a cooking class at our lodging while we are there. They also offer a variety of other tours/excursions.

Here's one I used just outside San Gimignano,

It is essentially hotel rooms for tow and you can rent as many rooms as you need. It is close to San Gimignano and easy driving distance to Volterra, Siena, and other towns in the area. We also drove to Pisa, Viareggio, and even Portovenere and La Spezia.

Nice place. Check out the amenities on the website. Winery close by.
