Looking for suggestions for a home base for late this summer in Val di Fassa. In the past we've stayed in Kastelruth, but frankly we want to find someplace new so we can explore and hike that part of the Dolomites. Looking for a town that's mellow and quaint and not strictly a big ski town like the cities in Val Gardena - something like the way Kastelruth was before it was discovered. Does anyone have any suggestions?
