Suggestions for 5 nights in Tuscany

Tentatively have 2 nights booked in Florence (Boutique Hotel Hugo) and 3 nights booked in Sienna (Hotel Palazzo Ravizza). We'd like to see as many hill towns as reasonable but we don't want to rent a car. Sienna seems to have a number of tours that originate from there to other areas or we might consider a driver for one day (I know $$$). Comments?
Thank you,
Sharon

We have been to Florence a couple of times as well as Sienna. We spent two nights there and had one full day to tour the city. We pretty much did Sienna in a day. If you haven't been to Florence, two nights is not enough to see the city.
San Gimignano is a small walled city worth visiting. It won't take you but a couple of hours to see the place.
Pisa and Lucca are great places to visit. Also, farther away there are many place in Umbria to see, but you don't have time.

We always rent a car in Tuscany and Umbria.
There are drivers but very pricey.
Siena is well positioned to visit the beautiful Chianti villages.
Florence needs more time. One day is all you are giving it.
