We will be driving a circle route around Sicily with a rental car. We would like to lodge the first night near Palermo airport and drive the next morning to Erice. Any suggestions for loding with free parking and a breakfast? KS

Just last month we stayed at B&B Villa Rosa Dei Venti the night before an early morning flight from Palermo Airport. It was nothing fancy and unfortunately we needed to leave for the airport before breakfast, but the simple dinner they prepared was fine. I don't know about parking as we did not have a car. They have a free airport shuttle.

I assume you’re planning on spending time exploring Palermo on the tail end of your circuit? If so, be sure to pick a rental company that also has offices in Palermo to avoid wasting time and money returning at the airport
