Hi there, Someone suggested Villa Bordoni to us for our four-night stay in Tuscany in May, but it seems they are booked. Can anyone suggest something similar? During our time in Tuscany, I'd like to take a cooking class, my husband would love to golf, and we'd like to just explore, relax and taste some good food and wine! Thank you!
I really wanted to stay in an agriturismo, but we ended up staying in town in Florence. But I really enjoyed perusing the choices on www.tuscany.net. There are many agriturismi to choose from with reviews. NEXT time I will stay at one!
http://www.airbnb.com/rooms/6913 We stayed here two years ago and are returning in June. Nice american couple. Seperate guest cottage.
Thank you both for your replies. I've landed on this place, which looks lovely: Villa Campomaggio in Radda in Chianti -- http://www.villacampomaggio.it/ing/home.htm Has anyone been or heard anything?
We really liked Villa Vignamaggio, just outside Greve. www.vignamaggio.it Very romantic & peaceful as well as being its own winery. You can find golf nearby, and they can help you find a cooking class. It also photographs incredibly well http://www.lodgephoto.com/galleries/italy-tuscany-chianti-vignamaggio/
We have reservations for Albergo Casalta - via matteotti loc strove; monteriggioni - can't comment yet but really looking forward to the stay in May
