We were hoping to go to Subiaco tomorrow. But I'm not sure how to get bus tickets to get there or what time the bus would leave. The bus sight is in Italian. Any help?
Try this. Go to the bus station. Find the Italian word for Sunday. Put that word together with Subiaco. Ask at the ticket window or ask guys standing around the bus stances. This worked for us in Ukraine. An alternative would be to write the two words on a piece of paper and show it around.
Well, it would probably help to know where you're wanting to go to Subiaco from. Our ESP skills are a bit rusty.
Thank you. We are trying to leave from Rome. Sorry I left that out. Thank you for your advice.
go to http://www.cotralspa.it/PDF_Orari_Comune/_Ponte_Mammolo_.pdf bottom of page 14, look in the beige area. Your question didn't allow a lot of response time. Its not Twitter you know?
Nigel, thanks for the link but it's not working for me. It's my understanding that Twitter is useless unless you have a lot of followers who will see your tweet--sort of like mumbling to yourself in the middle of a crowded shopping mall.
The file links to quite a large PDF. It is all of Cotral SPA's regional buses. Perhaps you could drill down from their home page, or perhaps your wifi is slow. I run at about 4 megabits and it took me about 2 minutes. It is a fairly frequent service, even on Sundays. You head out the B Metro line most of the way and catch the bus towards the Villa d'Este and keep going on past.
