Student Discount in Italy

Hi all,

I am a student studying histroy at university. I went to Athens in July 2013 and found that I could enter most tourist sights for free showing my student identification card!

Are there similar student discounts on attractions in Venice,Florence,Siena, Pisa and Rome?

I would like to know this as it could avoid me having to pay for the Florence/Roma passes.

Thanks,

Luke

Look at the individual website for the spots you want to visit. I see that for Florence museums (Ufizzi etc) there is a 25% discount for 18 to 25 AND citizens of European Union. So show your British Passport and get your discount.

At the Vatican museums if you have a student I.D. you can get in at the reduced rate. Be sure to have another form of I.D. as well. If you are an EU citizen between 18-25 you can get in for the reduced rate with proof of citizenship such as a passport.
