Sts. Peter and Paul's Day (most fervently celebrated in Rome)

Hi,
We will be in Rome for this day. Can anyone tell me about it and what to plan for. It is June 29,2017.
I can't find much information on this day.

Saints Peter and Paul are the patron saints of Roma, so there will be festivities, some business closings, fireworks and other entertainments.

I suggest you contact your hotel about any special events, especially if advance tickets are recommended. Perhaps make a dinner reservation ahead of time.
