Thanks to this very helpful forum I was able to learn the railway between Arona and Stresa is closed from June 9th to September 8th for maintenance/improvement. We're planning on travelling from Milan to Stresa on 16 Sept. Is it likely regular service will be resumed on time and as normal? Or will it still have limited service or be a bus run?
I know it's a lot of guessing but y'all travel in Italy more than I do so hopefully have some understanding I do not. Any additional assurance a bus replacement is totally fine would be appreciated.

The train schedules for Sept. 16 are currently showing train +bus bus service to Stresa in the morning and regular train service in the afternoon. But of course that could change.

I saw that and it seemed strange that the trains were only in the afternoon. It doesn't look like normal service will resume right away.
