Street maps for Rome

Which do you like better... Streetwise Rome or MapEasy Rome? I saw the Streetwise map at B&N yesterday. Love the laminate and small accordion style. Print was small, and might have to use magnifier sometimes...but it wasn't ridiculously small. I saw a sample of MapEasy on the Internet. Not sure how small the type is, but it did look somewhat confusing and fun, simultaneously, with all the other items on it.

Are there any others out there that are easier to read. I'm assuming if they are, then the map is just much larger.

Lulu, If you have a iPad or smart phone try City Maps To Go. You access the maps off line and you can down load the maps you need when you are connected to wifi.

I like the Streetwise maps altho I have not seen the MapEasy. You can write on the laminate and then take it off with a damp tissue or towel and it will also easily fit in my purse. However, for Rome, I often just use the map the front desk of the hotel will give you. They usually have a pad of maps they will tear off for you if you ask for directions to a restaurant, etc.

Be cautious about using the RS maps in the guidebooks for navigation. They don't always have N at the top which can be exceedingly confusing if you are a map person. They are fine for seeing where a location is, then finding it on a better map.

I use Streetwise maps, and a magnifier app on my iPhone. I haven't used the MapEasys.

Thanks all. I think I will be with the Streetwise one.
