We are scheduled to go hiking around Ortisei and Cortina in two weeks ( August 2023). I have seen news of recent big storms and flood damage. Has anyone been there recently? Are most of the hiking trails (and via ferratas ) still open? I can’t find any real updates about current conditions via a google search. Wondering if we should postpone our trip. Anyone know what current conditions are right now? Any news anyone has is appreciated!

A friend posted beautiful pictures on FB that they took yesterday from a hike in the Dolomites. Don’t know exactly where they were but they were getting round fine on their hikes. Looked stunning.

Contact your accommodation hosts. They will definitely know what the conditions are in their area.
