Storing Luggage in San Gim

We had a car and left our bags in it while we parked and looked around. I didn't notice any storage options. Normally I recommend stopping at the TI and asking (sometimes they'll tell you it's okay to leave them there for awhile), but I didn't visit a TI in San Gimignano and don't recall where it is.

According to the Florence & Tuscany 2013 book there is no bag storage available anywhere in town.

I think you have nothing to lose by emailing a few of the RS recommended hotels, expressing regret that you can't stay in town this trip since the RS writeup made them sound so interesting, and asking if you could pay to store your bags there for a few hours.

I have actually decided to stay a few nights there instead of Siena. Hopefully this will work out. Thanks
