I will be in Sorrento for two full days in Oct. 1 is on Sunday and 2nd, Monday. One of those days I'm going to do a full day tour to Mount Vesuvius Pompeii & winery. The other day naturally will be for walking the town and seeing the sights & shops. My question?? Does anyone have any input as to are most of the stores and sites closed on Sunday?

I would worry about getting into churches on Sunday, but Sorrento is a very touristed place. I would not worry about being unable to spend money on Sunday!
