We are going by train from Rome to the CT and thought we might make a quick stop in Pisa. What do you all think about this idea. Thank you

Yes I did see that, but I suppose I was wondering about time constraints. Will we have enough time to see Pisa and get to the CT?

I stopped on the way from Florence to CT - had to change trains in Pisa anyway. I dropped my bags in the left luggage room at the station, spent a lovely half day at the Leaning Tower (the Baptistry was worth the visit alone, for me), and still got to my hotel in Riomaggiore by 3 pm.
