I hate to sound like I just woke up from a year long nap, but I still can't get a grip on what's required on United as far as COVID goes. We're flying from Washington to Rome on May 6. We both have CDC Cards that show two vaccines in 2021 and a booster on March 23, 2022. Are PCR (72 hrs) or Antigen (48hrs) tests still required before boarding?
This is a good resource. You enter dates of the trip countries to and from and get up to date info.

The embassy website provides info. Scroll down to Entry and Exit Requirements. https://it.usembassy.gov/covid-19-information/
Consult it again closer to your trip in case the rules change.
You’re good to go
No test required to enter since you are vaccinated and boosted
https://infocovid.viaggiaresicuri.it/index_en.htyou will also need to fill out the PLF Passenger Locator Form
Your airlines should have all that info for you
Oh I see you are flying United
Login to your account and go to the Travel Ready section
Step by step check in etc instructions there
At this time you do need to test ONE day before your return to US- rapid antigen
There are many discussions of how to accomplish that here on forum
That requirement MIGHT change before your trip
Are you considering changing your screen name to rip van winkle? Seriously, this information is hard to keep track of. Once you think you have it down, it changes again. No reason to feel bad.
We just flew United from San Francisco get the app and do travel ready you just load passport vaccine cards and eu form coming back into USA you need a Covid test done day before you return or recovery letter if you’ve had Covid in last 90 days that part was a pain but going into Italy was super easy
