Sticking to the itinerary on tour

On the Venice Florence Rome tour must you stick with the itinerary. While in Venice I would rather see the hustle and bustle of the markets in the morning rather than go to the museum and I have no interest in burano. Can I do my own thing then join back up later

If you cut class and visit the markets you might enjoy the traghetto, it is right there. Standing is more fun

You'll need to ask the people who actually do the tour. This is just a bulletin board of people who are sharing their own experiences. Happy travels.

I've taken 7 RS tours, and, yes, you may make your own plans within the overall structure of the tour. I've done that several times. It is best to notify your "travel buddy" and the tour director if you are going to skip something. That way they won't wait unnecessarily for you. You'll have great stories to tell at the dinner table.
