There is a hotel in Venice that is close to the public park on the Grand Canal. It is just around the corner from the park. Can anyone help me with the name? Thanks, Connie

Have you consider using goggle maps, find the park, and drag the pointer over the surrounding buildings.

Yes I have. Three times. One time we had no reservations and found a hotel that was ok but would not suggest to anyone. The second and third time we stayed in a wonderful apt. that we would highly recommend to anyone. My daugher and a group are going in Feb. and there is a person with them who can not walk far. The last time I was in Venice I remember a hotel that would be very convenient for him and it was very nice. I will use Google map. Thanks, Connie

If you are talking about the park that is close to the vaporetto stop San Marco-Vallaresso, the hotel is probably the Luna Hotel Baglioni. It is behind Harry's Bar. And is very nice, 5 star. http://www.baglionihotels.com/en/destinations/venice/luna-hotel-baglioni/hotel

Thanks, actually I used google map and the park is on the corner of the Grand Canal across from Piazzale Royale where the busses stop. I think the Hotel is Hotel Papadopoli Venezia. It also looks very nice. Lots of nice choices. I will check out the hote you mentioned. Thanks, Connie
