I will be traveling to Santa Margherita and would like to know if anyone has had any experience with the Nuovo Hotel Garden. I have read mixed reviews and the cancellation policy is one night. Thanks

I stayed there in 2005. I thought it was very good w/ a great location, quiet, limited parking on site but secured, very clean ensuite room with a view and small balcony. Breakfast was also standard fare for Italy. I walked to everything easily and would happily stay again in the future.It is owned by the Sabini Family, they are very italian to one another and I thought gracious hosts.

There are two hotels with similar names--the one I am concerned about is the Nuovo Garden Hotel by the train station. By your description it sounds as though you stayed at the Nuovo Riviera which has great reviews very similar to yours.
