Staying in Positano and renting a driver for the day. What would you do for an itinerary.

We are staying in Positano for four nights. We want to book a driver for the day to take us around the Amalfi Coast. Pompeii has been seen by everyone. Where would you have your driver take you. Thanks

Gorgeous Sorrento, Amalfi and Ravello.
If u decide on another day consider amazing Paestum. Reached by a freeway.
Incredible temples and have lunch at a bufalo de Mozzarella farm in Paestum.
We had a terrific day here among the temples and touring a local farm with lunch.

Do you have a driver yet? If not, I can highly, highly recommend someone we used in 2015. He was the highlight of our trip!

My choices would be Amalfi, Ravello, then drive down the coast to Vietri sul mare.

This would give you about two hours in each town, and beautiful vistas on the drive between.
There are also four other towns between, so do some research to see what appeals to you.

Praiano is quite nice before you hit Amalfi, then after Ravello you have the beauties Minori, Maiori and Cetara before hitting Vietri sul Mare. On the other side of the peninsula, I was fascinated when the bus to Naples drove us by Vico Equense.

Hope this trip is not in July or August, as the road could be choked with traffic.

We are based in Sorrento (2 couples) we have booked a private driver for 9 hours to take us to; Amalfi, Positano and Ravello and a quick stop in Furore Fjord. Since we have never been we are hitting the main towns with time for lunch.

In Minori, stop at Sal de Riso's pastry shop.

All the towns suggested are beautiful.

Zoe's advice is right on☺️ We followed her recommedation last September.
It's like a candy store of pastries, very hard to choose!
Then there's also the gelato in the rear of the store.
Pick up a selection to take back to your lodging and eat the gelato in the car. Ummm!
