Has anyone stayed in Oltrarno , on Piazza Santo Spirit? If so, did you find it noisy at night?

Yes, and not really. The numbers decrease after about 10:00 p.m. It is a very pleasant place to stay. There is a Palazzo which has been converted into a hotel, the Hotel Palazzo Guadagni, with a terrace on the 4th floor, which I understand is much updated from when it was known as Hotel Bandini. We stayed in Oltrano and really liked it. We found it quiet with many good restaurants. One of our favorites was near Piazza Santo Spirito- sorry I can't remember the name.

We stayed in an airbnb apartment on this little piazza right above the restaurant 4Leoni. We really liked how quiet the Oltrarno was away from the bustle of the historic center.

I stayed in an apartment on Via Sant'Agostino that was about a half block from Piazza Santo Spirito. I thought it might be noisy, but it really wasn't. Haven't stayed in a place that was right on the piazza.
