Has anyone stayed at a convent in Rome? If so, were you satisfied & which one did you stay in?
yes, it's pretty clean and walking distance to the coliseum. breakfast so so and ends relatively early, but still good price.
There is a list of religous housing here: http://www.santasusanna.org/comingToRome/convents.html
Convents are great for a clean, basic room. No frills, but who cares - you'll be out sightseeing all day. You just need a place to crash. Some convents have curfews-be sure to ask as you don't want to be locked out for the night!
