I want ot be in the Amelia area preferably, but will take Narni. Sounds like I should stay away from ugly Terni. Can't find an affordable agriturismo that has availability. When I have looked at Agriturismos on www.agriturismo.it, there are listings where no one has stayed there, and I am a bit apprehensive about staying somewhere where i cannot find ANYTHING about it from someone who has stayed there. The other possibility is stay in a hotel or B&B. Any recommendations?
In searching the website for the town of Amelia at www.amelia.it, they advertise "La Palombara Agriturismo" in Amelia, Italy. Their website is www.la-palombara.it I also found this agriturismo listed with Trip Advisor with raving reviews. Hope this helps.
they are booked., but thanks.
Jackie, I wonder if this agri could recommend any other lodging recommendations for you. Worth a try. This town, with my mother's name, looks lovely. Have fun on your trip.
Hi, Jackie- I just checked the VRBO (vacation rentals by owner) site. Under Italy- Umbria- Amelia there are 3 properties. I did not check availability, but we have had some good luck with this company. Just be sure to do your research.. Here is the link, if you want to check it out. Amelia is on our list to visit in March. It looks really lovely... Good Luck!
