Hello booking monterosso to roma termini, stops in la spezia or pisa. but florence to monterosso, dosent say that? I just put in Monterosso? am i supposed to put in la spezia or pisa?
also is it worth staying in monterosso on a sunday to wait for train at 12:43 to rome or leave monterosso at 9:30 am to rome
and all the trouble i was having with trenitalia in previous post I was on Internet Explorer, if that helps anyone...

If I put in Firenze S.M. Novella to Monterosso, it shows train changes at Pisa Centrale and La Spzia Centrale. Takes about 3 hours and costs as little as 14 euros if using regional trains. Make sure you spell it all correctly in Italian.
This is on a Mac so don't know about issues with Internet Explorer.

Just enter FROM: Monterosso TO: Roma Termini.
Select a date and the time enter 00. You'll have all the possible solutions starting from the earliest one in the morning.
From Monterosso to Roma the solutions with the fewest changes is through the coastal route. You are likely to change only once in La Spezia.
Trains from Monterosso to Rome via Florence may be just as fast, but require more changes (La Spezia, Pisa, Florence) and are generally more expensive.
