Stationery/paper shops in Venice/Florence/Rome

Greetings fellow stationery fans! I'll be in Venice, Florence and Rome and would love to find some great paper/stationery stores/cartolerias, so please share your favorites! If you've taken any paper making classes, I'd love to hear about them, too. Thank you!

In Florence there are no big stationery stores, but tiny ones are everywhere, notably branches of "il Papiro" chain. My wife is quite fond of a couple of tiny shops in via de' Servi.
Cartiera Verdi, near the San Frediano city door, has an industrial feel but paper and cardboard are cheaper than in most places. The biggest shop for hobby and decoration activities is Zest, via della Mattonaia.

In Venice, Lagatoria Poliero is a favourite, as you face the Frari church, it to your left.

Hello,
In Rome, this little place has a wide selection of art supplies, papers, and pen/ink/calligraphy tools:

There is also a very nice store at the Rome airport in the terminal. I wish I could remember the name of it. You could probably check the list of stores there. We were leaving to our gate for a United airlines flight.

What a wonderful thread to star, and I’m thrilled to learn of locations in all of these cities from our fellow forum members!

In Florence, I highly recommend Il Torchio (http://www.legatoriailtorchio.com/en/). It’s on Via de’ Bardi in the Oltrarno district of Florence. Erin, the owner, makes all of the products in the store by hand. Her collection runs from the classic to the eclectic (journals using bicycle innertubes as the binding is BRILLIANT and so original). I treated myself to a leather clutch bag stamped with her logo on one side and painted in Florentine painted paper style on the other side. It’s fantastic! I make it a priority to visit her shop on every trip to Florence.

Congrats on your upcoming trip!
