Hi folks!
My family will be in Rome for 3 days in September 2017 and staying in the Campo di Fiori area (CF). Our itinerary is full. The only time was have to do the Heart of Rome walk is on the 2nd day in the late afternoon/early evening of our stay. Unfortunately we will be near the Spanish Steps area already. Has anyone ever walked this tour "backwards" from the Spanish Steps to Campo de Fiori? Is it confusing or easily manageable? It just seems silly to go back to CF, where we are staying, to walk to the Spanish Steps and then still still have to make our way back to CF to get to our air b&b apt. Appreciate any feedback or thoughts!
thanks y'all,

There is no reason at all not to do it backwards. Go for it.
Just consider yourself marching to a different drummer. Go for it! You'll not have any problems doing it in the reverse order.
We did it backwards from the Spanish Steps at night. No problem at all.
I've done it backwards from there too! Definitely manageable. Just keep reminding yourself that you're doing the opposite of the instructions.
Hi everyone, thank you for all the great feedback! I feel so much more confident now. You're the best! Karen
