Stadio Di Domiziano - Should we buy tour?

Or maybe Stadium of Domitian (?).

I can't find much on boards about it, but it looks like it might be interesting. Any feedback on if we should visit, should we get tours, and if so, what tour (they have two options), I would greatly appreciate it!

Oh and if we buy tour will it be in English? The site does not say.

Hi there, I visited this museum in 2022. I'm very much a history buff, so I found it to be a cool little place. However, I don't think it requires a tour. It's quite small as far as archeological sites go, and they do (or did when I was there) offer an audio guide at an additional cost. Enjoy!

We did the Exclusive tour last September and enjoyed it.
the difference in price between the normal tour and the exclusive tour is that they take you across the street to a different section not open to the normal tour or general public and let you walk around. The audio guide explains the significance of what you are seeing. Since you are using an audio guide, you will of course select English, so yes the audio tour is in English.
The normal tour is the general tour and comes with an audio guide in various languages, including English
So any admission you do will come with an audio tour, like it or not.
You should book either tour in advance. When we there, tourists did try to walk up and buy tickets and they were turned away or told to come back at a later time when they had openings in the afternoon.
Which tour to take depends on your interest in the subject matter. I found it to be interesting.
We went on this tour because this was our third time to Rome, and we had seen all the other major sites, so we were looking for additional things to do. I also recommend the Domus Aurea (Nero's golden house) tour. Tickets purchased in advance required.
