Hi guys,
My friend and I are planning a trip to Rome, we'll be staying there for 3 days. We plan to visit St. Peter Square. Do you guys know any good cafe we can stop by?
Many thanks!

I wouldn't go to any cafes near St. Peter's. They will be touristy, overpriced and not that good. Go several blocks away from the basilica to look for decent food. You can ask your hotel front desk for recommendations.

One can get ripped off in any tourist mecca but the area around the Vatican sort of specializes in hosing tourists. I would avoid anything there and if you do decide to eat or drink there pay attention to the price lists, don't get pushed into a terrace table (and high add on prices) if you don't want that.
