St Peter's Basilica Skip the Line

I am planning a trip to Italy next month and am trying to get an answer to a question on visiting Vatican City. We have booked a tour to visit the Sistine Chapel from 7:15 to 11:15 am. I would like to see St Peter's Basilica afterwards but understand tours don't send you through the "side door" anymore. Do we have to start all over with security lines, etc.? Sites that say you can't buy skip the line access then offer to sell you skip the line tickets. This seems confusing on whether they are legitimate. Any advice on how to go from the Vatican Museums to St Peter's that day would be appreciated.

Nobody skips the security line and there is no tickets line at Saint Peter's, so ask those companies if they have access to a separate - and shorter - security line reserved to guided tours.

If the answer is negative, it's a scam. If it's positive, ask where the meeting point is. To skip the general security line you should meet them outside the Church.

The security line at Saint Peters moves quite fast, walking back from the Museums could take more in the early morning.
