From the Bargello Museum how long would it take to walk to St Marks on Via Maggio. Would be walking late evening. Would a bus or taxi be a better idea
If you are referring to Saint Mark's Church on the other side of the Arno (Saint Mark's English Church)...According to my google maps search, it will take 11 minutes on foot : https://www.google.ca/maps/dir/Bargello+National+Museum,+Via+del+Proconsolo,+Florence,+Metropolitan+City+of+Florence,+Italy/St.+Mark%27s+English+Church,+Via+Maggio,+16,+50125+Firenze,+Italy/@43.7683959,11.2489978,16z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m14!4m13!1m5!1m1!1s0x132a5406d2c12b79:0x213c9b3a845e25ec!2m2!1d11.258008!2d43.770398!1m5!1m1!1s0x132a5154d909b71d:0xed1dc85108f460d1!2m2!1d11.249262!2d43.7675!3e2
We stayed very close to St. Mark's English Church in Oltarno neighborhood in Florence and walked everywhere in Florence including the Bargello Museum.
According to memory (and confirmed by Google maps), it is about 10-13 minutes. It's a pretty walk, and it shouldn't be too bad. Not sure a bus or taxi is a better way to go. Just walk it, and crossing the Arno on foot on one of the bridges is always fun. To avoid getting lost, print out the walking route on Google Maps and follow it. It's relatively easy to get to (only two turns).
