St marks basilica skip the line—venetoinside

Hello, our trip is next May, I can’t tell if the dates are all sold out or if it is too early to book. Does anyone have experience with this?

Can't help about the tour reservations, but we were in Venice the first week of May and just stood in the line to San Marco for about 20 minutes. (We had been to Venice before, so were a little more loosey-goosey about our schedule -- if a line looked too long, we saw something else and came back later.)

Hello, I've been to Venice twice and last May, I used the skip the line ticket I purchased online for both the Basilica and the elevator to the top of the Campanile. It was so much better than waiting in line which I had done on my 1st trip. Make sure you try to be in the Basilica at 1130 am as the lights get turned on by a timed switch and the gold mosaics on the ceiling just sparkle so beautifully. It's breathtaking! Cj
