We recently received a ticket from which we were there in Italy last May for being over the speed limit 10 miles. They are charging 184 euros. Is this excessive? Also, how can we pay this in euro without incurring an additional wire transfer fee? Thanks,

It's probably not excessive when you consider the other fees that are attached. You can see if they will take a payment via your credit card. This will give you the best exchange rate and you won't need to deal with wire transfers. Donna
