We have rented a 9 person Toyota minibus in Sicily through argusrentals.com. I plan on getting an international drivers permit but I'm wondering if I need a special type of license to rent a vehicle this large? I've seen pictures and it looks just a bit bigger than a minivan but I"m wondering if it requires special instruction and permits? I contacted argusrentals and the woman was very kind, but not exactly sure. I just don't want to get over there and find out I need a special large vehicle handlers permit or something to that effect.
