That's more or less what I paid for our round trip tickets from Rome to Salerno with Trenitalia, however we got them the minute the date we needed (in July) was released. Now they are euro 19,00 each way. So you definitely saved some money!
I will be riding ITALOTreno for the first time on a trip back from Florence. Am curious to see how it compares to Trenitalia.
